2016 Level 1 and Level 2  global navigation from the header on large view. The goal was to make the navigation more touch friendly and allow users to easily drill into deeper level sub-categories, expose more categories, make associations of products and services easier to understand, and allow for users to start at a higher product scope if wanting to browse a wider range of products for education.

This shows all the levels of the small view navigation, how a user easily gets back to the highest level and can expand within a sub-category and drill in and understand the relationships to the category in order to find what they're looking for easier and without having to do a lot of back and forth between screens.

Sketches to work through number of templates and what the base templates should look like before a category starts to customize them.

Thinking through how to let users seamlessly navigate to deeper pages and jump back to higher level pages.

Final templates, and documentation to explain when to each template, what sections are required and what are optional.  The templates needed to account for the various categories Best Buy sells, but also create a library of widgets and components that could be used across all categories.

Concepts for where to place save-for-later functionality, how it should function, etc. in preparation for a usability test.

Often times I use this as a means to organize all the features that need to be included on a page or in a piece of functionality. It also is a too to figure out priority and iteration planning.

Rough design/wireframe mockups to figure out amount of information needed, placement, and other UI details for a usability study.

This mockup was a concept to have the Save for Later functionality be a 'sticky' element at the bottom of the browser window. where users could drag and drop items or save items and see the products animate into the buckets they've created.

Goals of the new Geek Squad Services Experience

• Track and be smart about the 'path' the user has taken and what they have viewed
• Serve up relevant, contextual Geek Squad services at different, key places during the experience to gain more exposure (not one size fits all lightbox anymore)
• Make it simple to add a Geek Squad service to a purchase
• Deliver on the promise to 'support the customer throughout the life of their product'
• Differentiate us from the competitors by have an customer-centric solution
