MY PROCESS

Research / Strategize/ Ideate / Sketch / Prototype / Test / Iterate / Design / Implement / Measure

These steps, not always of equal duration or importance — guide me to always be thinking about every aspect of the work. I zoom in and zoom out dozens of times over the course of a project.

Zooming out allows me to see the forest for the trees, analyze the landscape, and keep focused on the overarching vision, business goals, user goals, strategy, and objectives.

Zooming in allows me to think through information, hierarchy, flows, research results, and design details that make or break the experience. This constant back and forth keeps me balanced and ensures the solutions are thought through to the finest detail. The devil is in the details.

There are parts of my process that are not digitally represented here on my site - the nature of them is hard to capture and happen within the ‘heat of the process.’ Things like the review of analytics, A/B test results, design thinking sessions, creation of strategy decks, requirement gathering, critique and revisions, collaborations and conversations that feed into the ideas and documentation. Some of my work can't be displayed due to NDAs. If you would like to see more of my work, click through my prototypes, and hear about my process contact me.
